We have been online since 2010 when we started Bisley Direct our first online furniture stores and now are focusing on our new website thatsmyoffice.co.uk to promote, where possible, British Manufacturers and products for the home and office. With over 30 years of logistics and office furniture experience, we have curated a range of products for the best online experience.

Having created BisleyDirect we sold it in 2021 so we  aren't tied to a manufacturer so can offer the right solutions to suit your needs.

We wanted to sell products we would use and know our customer will appreciate and love as much as we do.

We wanted to show customers products and be different in the market and are small enough to care but big enough to service our customers.

Our Managing Director Graeme Winship started the business back in 2010 with a view to creating a simple and professional online selling experience for customers.

With a background in Logistics, Graeme had a vision for ebonium as a customer-centric solution to provide a range of furniture with great service that customers wanted and understood. In reality, a proper service, answering phones without lengthy waits, having knowledgeable staff and sorting out issues if they arose.

Ebonium invested significantly in the Magento 1 & 2 web platforms, developing modules and operational support to sell products directly to customers and over the years ebonium has increased products to encompass all Office Furniture environments for the home and larger projects. Hence our focus is now on our home and office furniture webstore.  Over the last 12 years ebonium have not only sold online but provided  a range of consultancy services for the following household companies providing assistance with Home delivery, logistics, and business re-organisation:

    Graeme held Senior Logistics Positions with The Linguaphone Institute, Host Broadcast Services and Bisley Office Equipment prior to launching ebonium and it was during this time that he recognised the need for a company to be supplying great storage products with a professional delivery solution as:

"Too many companies just deliver to the door, and do not handle products well or look after customers. as how we would want to be treated ourselves"

In 2010, with agreement from the manufacturer, ebonium launched BisleyDirect.co.uk to provide an innovative full product solution and branched out with filingcabinets.co.uk in 2016.

Both of these websites were sold in 2021 to allow us to focus on our new offering and create a fully inclusive buying experience for home and office furniture webstores.

Since the pandemic, we wanted to offer an enhanced range of products backed by our unique service and caring attitude. We believe in great service and to be honest in that, if something goes wrong, we will fix it and look after customers and talk to them. This is what we do and do it well, hence ebonium was recognised by feefo with regular gold service awards in 2019 and 2020 and a platinum partner award in 2021.
